The appearance is part of WCIP’s Street Lit House Party experience, which bringsbooks, music and live cultural programming together.

In ICONIC BEATS, Easy Mo Bee opens up in his own voice about the music, moments andprinciples behind some of hip-hop’s most unforgettable records. The book takes readers insidethe making of records, the art of sampling, the politics of credit and the culture that shaped hiscareer, including his work connected to Biggie, Tupac, Miles Davis, Busta Rhymes, Craig Mack,Alicia Keys and others.The book features a foreword by hip-hop legend Big Daddy Kane and includes a special chapterfocused on Easy Mo Bee’s work with Miles Davis on Doo-Bop.
