Middlesex County is bringing its third annual Gospel Music Festival back to New Brunswick this summer, and this year's lineup represents the most star-studded edition of the event yet.

Grammy Award-winning artists Erica Campbell and Jonathan McReynolds will headline the free outdoor concert on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM at 2 Livingston Avenue in New Brunswick.

The festival is part of the County's FolkLIVE community event series and is completely free and open to the public — no tickets required.

**The Lineup**

Alongside headliners Erica Campbell and Jonathan McReynolds, the 2026 Gospel Music Festival features Billboard chart-topping gospel group The Group Fire from Newark, along with local artists Tangie Cobb, Valarie Adams, Bishop George C. Searight & Royal Priesthood, Myles Cherrette, and DJ RunTheFade.

The event will be emceed by Toya Beasley, host of 94.7 The Block, and nationally recognized arts administrator Deonté Griffin-Quick.

**What's New in 2026**

This year's festival introduces several enhancements for attendees. The New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC), located adjacent to the festival grounds, will serve as a cooling center and offer a live stream for those who prefer an air-conditioned viewing experience.

The Heldrich Hotel and Conference Center is offering a discounted rate of $119 per night for concertgoers through a group code, valid until July 3, 2026.

Food and beverage vendors on-site include Delta's Patty Wagon, McGriff's Fish and Chips, Just Pies by Lisa, Devvon's Lemonade, and Jamaica Taste.

The festival is accessible by mass transit — NJ TRANSIT Northeast Corridor Line and Amtrak both stop at New Brunswick station. Free and paid parking options are available, and Middlesex County RIDE shuttles will connect parking areas to the event.

Past editions of the Middlesex County Gospel Music Festival have featured legendary artists including Hezekiah Walker, Jekalyn Carr, Fred Hammond, and Kierra Sheard-Kelly, as well as beloved local talents including The Jenkin Brothers, Lenore Davis, David Cross, and Tawanda Muslim.
